What a year it’s been for bears and those who dedicate their lives to studying and protecting them!

In 2024, IBA and our members made incredible strides in bear research, conservation, and education—connecting communities, advancing science, and working toward a future where all 8 bear species thrive. From groundbreaking studies to global conferences, collaborations, and conservation efforts, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together.
