The American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS) is accepting registrations for the 16th annual Biological Sciences Congressional District Visits program.
This nationwide initiative invites biologists, graduate students, and research professionals to meet with their federal or state lawmakers in their home districts to showcase the importance of biological research.
Participants can:
- Highlight the real-world impact of biological science in their communities
- Meet with elected officials at local offices
- Invite lawmakers to tour research facilities
AIBS will coordinate your meeting and provide free training and support to ensure you’re prepared.
Meetings will take place between mid-July and October
Registration is free, but required by July 14, 2025
