27th IBA Conference Goes Virtual
While we were all hoping that a hybrid conference format would be feasible, the IBA Conference Organizing Committee recently made the difficult decision to make the 2021 conference planned for Kalispell, Montana an entirely virtual event. The continued uncertainty surrounding the pandemic creates too much financial risk to host a hybrid event and presents logistical challenges that would severely limit participation from outside the U.S. We appreciate your patience as we navigate these challenges. Below please find important details regarding the conference.
Given international attendance and preference to avoid full-day sessions, the Conference Program Committee decided to spread conference sessions over 6 partial days and at times that accommodate multiple time zones: 14-16 September 2021 (original dates) and 21-23 September 2021.
Registration for the virtual conference will be through Cvent. IBA members will receive an email with further details when registration opens. If you were previously registered for the in-person conference, you will be fully reimbursed and will need to register again for the virtual event. Refunds will be processed over the next few weeks and we will contact you if we need more information to refund your registration.
