Applications now being accepted for the IBA Executive Director Position

For over 40 years IBA has been a leading force for science-based bear conservation worldwide by sponsoring conferences, publishing the peer-reviewed journal Ursus, the tri-annual newsletter International Bear News, running a small grants program, holding international conferences, and providing networking opportunities for upcoming biologists. As conservation needs of bears increase, and in order to improve its effectiveness, IBA recognized the need for dedicated staff to manage the growing organization, administer programs and raise significant funds necessary to expand and sustain IBA. IBA is now looking for an Executive Director (ED) to lead the organization during this exciting transition from volunteer-run to one with paid staff helping to fulfill our mission.
